D.R.E.A.M. Program

MSO Mentoring Program for Teens will provide mentoring for teenage girls through a program titled, DREAM (Dedicated to Reaching Empowering Aspiring Minds).

There is no cost for registration, but you must be willing to commit to at least one year to our program. Monthly meetings with students will be communicated at the day camp for 2009-2010 academic year.

Session topics include:

*Interview techniques

*"DREAM" Open Minds to New Ideas

*Discipline and Good Manners

*Respecting Yourself and Others

*Saying No to Drugs

*Exercise and Fitness

*Consequences of Your Behavior

*African American Heritage and Self-Awareness

*Dating Talk

*Arts/Crafts

Students will be given the opportunity to sign up for the mentoring program. During the academic year, students will work with a mentor who will inspire them to attend school and succeed in life.
